We are a team of two Independent Stylists, but have worked side by side building our ideas and passions throughout our history. Parking

There are two parking garages that offer free parking within a few blocks of The Reed. If you do have to pay for parking, just bring in your receipt, and it will be discounted off your service.

Hello! My name is Marah (she/her)

I love working with natural curls, doing up-dos, fun colors, and anything that makes you feel you!

My favorite part of this creative line of work is making people feel confident. Seeing the look on people's faces when they see their hair more curly than they thought it could be, or when their color vision comes to life. Hearing clients ecstatic about their hair brings me so much joy!

I grew up staying up late at night reading through picture books about how to braid my doll's hair, and as I got a little older, I was always in charge of helping the other girls in ballet with their hair before shows.

It took me until I was an adult in beauty school to figure out what to do with my curls, and I've definitely had a few of those triangular bobs. I'm so lucky to be able to help people care for their curls.

I have a big love for dance and theater, and I want to help you make the world your stage!

My name is Z (He/They)



As a Creative Professional I’m a Curl-Focused Stylist, Vivid Colorist, Affirming Artist, and Alternative Cut Curator. I dabble with creativity as rampantly as my ADHD demands, playing with all Color Palettes, Shaved Designs / Barbering, Hand-Painted Designs, and any Sub-Genre of Alternative hair.

I come from a Creative Background, having attended Art School for 6 years, where I practiced a variety of Mixed Media and Photography. I was the kid growing up doing midnight bathroom Haircolor (of every shade 🌈) until I eventually started doing Freelance hair for friends and family during the Pandemic. After years of getting a Pixie instead of a Fade, my Layers never being Choppy enough, and always feeling Unseen in Salons, I decided that I needed to be the Affirming Stylist I didn’t have growing up. I’m Grateful and Honored for the opportunity to help people feel closer to themselves, one Cut & Color at a time.
